STOCK CONTROL PROCEDURES



PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
To familiarize participants with quality stock control procedures that provide accurate day to day inventory management for an organization.


TARGET GROUP
Those who are currently involved in dispatch, point of sale, stocktaking or stock collection. This is most 
likely to benefit store managers, supervisors, team leaders and store staff.

TRAINING STRUCTURE
This programme is an-on-the-job training approach which is highly participatory and practical. Participants 
will be shown the various processes, tools and techniques and then apply them in small group exercises. A laminated tip sheet is provided to all participants. There is also ongoing follow-up field training provided.

LEARNING BENEFITS

On completion of this programme, it is expected participants will be able to have the tools tobe able to:

• Apply accurately the organisations stock control procedures
• Apply the appropriate dispatch procedures (quantity, price etc.)

• Maintain a high standard of point of sale principles (price tags, expired stock, presentation)
• Perform the correct stock take procedures on a timely basis (PDE use etc).
• Perform stock collection (refill shelves etc)

• Respond to the principles of positive customer relationships (greet, politeness, thank you etc.)
